He Came to Find Me at the Outskirts

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”     2 Corinthians 13:14

During my meditation time with God, I was invited to be in fellowship with the Trinity. I saw all 3 of Them: Father, Son and Spirit, in a circle but I was tentative to join. I felt unworthy to be in Their company. I told Them I would stay on the outside and watch.

But Jesus didn't stay in the circle. He came to me.

He said, "My daughter, you are rejecting My gift of salvation by not joining Us. You were created to be with Us. You belong with Us. It is why I died on the cross."

Would I take away Their joy and the price He paid? I slowly walked over with Him and joined the circle.

They didn’t see my unworthiness. It was all the love and all the good things I have done. Their smile grew when they spoke of the book, Come Sit Heal.

Then, as if on cue, the dog — the main character of the book — appeared and ran straight to Jesus, licking His face. Then he came running to me, followed by the other dogs I had created with the Spirit. I was surrounded by pure, joyful love.

Then Jesus made me a promise. And He always keeps His promises.

He told me I would meet them when I get to Heaven. They are now with Desiree and Daphne — my two dogs I have lost. He called them all my children because that's exactly what they are.

I can't wait for the day He takes me to them.

Have you ever held back from God because you felt unworthy? Let Jesus come find you where you are. You belong in the circle too.
